The capital market has become the most important part of the Polish economy. Unfortunately, the knowledge about the capital market still requires of the improvement. The duty of education and science development in this direction rests to a large extent on the scientific community and capital market institutions.
Research on the Polish capital market and its most important element - the Warsaw Stock Exchange - are developing dynamically. Following the publications of recent years in this area, it is clearly visible that apart from the popularization of known methods from developed markets, Polish scientific thought appears.
Making the proper investment decisions, choosing sources of financing and determining the ways of managing surpluses create financial management, which is of interest to almost everyone. However, there are many more issues here, that we will only mention risk management or the choice of methods and techniques for making investment decisions.
Noticing the special importance of the issues of the capital market and the Warsaw Stock Exchange, we invite for the tenth time a scientific conference which will take the place in Międzyzdroje on September 17-19, 2018.
The conference is to create an opportunity to exchange experiences, present innovative solutions and share a vision of what the capital market in Poland is and where it is going. And all this in comparison with Poland's comparisons with countries in which capital markets have a large tradition.
Despite the scientific character, the conference is intended for both scientists dealing with the proposed issues, as well as for practitioners who have contact with the capital market on a daily basis (company presidents, financial directors, analysts, investment advisors, securities brokers, etc.).
We propose the following main thematic blocks::
